About Us

DraganFarms2.JPG

A warm welcome to Peregian Beach College Early Learning Centre. We are open from 7.00am to 5.30pm, 50 weeks of the year.

We are licensed for 34 places across two rooms and benefit greatly from having a team of well established, qualified educators who are passionate about early years.

As we are a relatively   small child care centre, we are able to build close bonds with children and families and we pride ourselves on offering a stimulating learning environment where children are valued as individuals and their childhoods are cherished.

Our centre is set in a beautiful natural environment within the grounds of Peregian Beach College.

Our Commitment to Reconciliation

At Peregian Beach College Early Learning Centre we aim to create an environment which embraces, reflects and celebrates Australian culture and the diversity of the people who live in this beautiful country.

We want children to value the richness of the culture and customs of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and to feel a sense of pride in this as part of our shared national identity.

We acknowledge and thank the Gubbi Gubbi people,

For the land in which we learn and play.

Testimonial

We’ve had a really positive experience at Peregian Beach College Early Learning Centre. The small class sizes and kind, nurturing teachers have helped create a space where our son feels safe, seen and excited to learn. The smaller setting has helped my son develop some lovely close-knit friendships that will see him through to his primary school years. The large classrooms and beautiful outdoor area are set up in a way that gives the children lots of room to explore and engage in open-ended, real-world learning experiences.

One of the things we’ve appreciated most is how the educators have taken time to understand and support my son’s individual learning needs. They’ve been open and responsive in adapting their programs, spaces and teaching approaches to support him.

There’s also a lovely sense of community here – we felt welcomed from the beginning, and it’s been great to feel part of a place where both children and families are genuinely cared for. It certainly doesn’t feel like a typical ‘centre’ environment. One moment that really showed us how special this community is was at the school athletics carnival, where the Kindy children were invited to take part. Lots of parents attended, not just cheering on their own kids, but calling out encouragement to every child, by name! It was such a warm and encouraging atmosphere.

We feel incredibly grateful to have found a kindy where our son feels supported, excited about learning and part of a genuine community.
